We’re in Joshua Tree, California. We made it. We’re tired people after 11 days on the road. Only one of those stops was more than an overnight, and it was 2 nights (Carlsbad, NM). We have 4 nights here to actually see something.
it’s kind of difficult to explain how tiring it is to travel like this. 200-300 miles per day is not a lot of miles, really. But it will wear you out.
No worries, that’s mostly over. Joshua Tree National Park is next door. We have a full tank of gas in the Jeep, and it’s only going to be about 80 tomorrow. We’re going exploring!
